100th Year Celebration and Gala Potentate's BallAs part of the 100th celebration and ball, the ball committee is putting together a DVD of past Shrine Events. This will be shown at the Ball on May 22nd. We are looking for pictures of past Balls, GLSA, Fly-in, Horse Show, Parades, and other Shrine Events. Please mark the date on the back side. Drop the photos off or send them to the office in care of Judy Klemm. Please get these in as soon as possible so that the Photo Unit can have adequate time to put together the DVD. Thank You for your cooperation. Larry Ashley & Eric Bickel, Chairmen First Ladies 100th Anniversary Donation ProjectFirst Lady Linda Weaver has announced her donation project for 2010. In keeping with the motto for 2010 - "Honoring Our Heritage, and Embracing Our Future" with the help of the Photo Unit, she had designed an ornament to commemorate the Mizpah Shrine building and the memories that have been made there over the years. In the foreground of the ornament is the Silent Messenger, signifying our dedication to our kids. Behind it is our historic building with its massive doors and at the very top is the sword and scimitar window. The details of this ornament are amazing. There is a picture in the February Allah- Bi. You can also see the ornament during the day in the Shrine office. Donations from this project help support the local transportation fund.
